Spanish-speaking people from the Caribbean and Central and South America--Argentina, Cuba, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Honduras, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Salvador, and more--gather to worship together at the Spanish Mass each Sunday.  

   Sunday Mass in Spanish  10:00 a.m.

 

   Weekday Masses in Spanish: 

                                                Thursdays 7:15 p.m.

                                                Saturdays 11:00 a.m.

 

   Confessions are heard in Spanish.

 

   There will be a Lenten talk each Sunday after the

   10:00 Spanish Mass.  Parishioners are invited to come

   to the auditorium and hear speakers on Lenten topics.

Other regularly scheduled events in Spanish include:

          Prayer Group (Spanish)

               Tuesdays 7:00 p.m. in the auditorium

                    The Spanish-speaking  community gathers

                    for scripture, intercessions, and song.

                    A joyful celebration!

          Cursillistas (Spanish)

               Thursdays 7:45 p.m. in the Newman Room

          Apostleship of Prayer/

          Asociación del Sagrado Corazón (Spanish)

               first Sundays after the 10:00 Mass

                    in the auditorium

 

There are Spanish Retreat Days in Advent and Lent

          and Stations of the Cross (Vía Crucis) on the Fridays of Lent at 7:15 p.m.

On Good Friday night, the Vía Crucis is made

          through the streets of the neighborhood.

We celebrate the patronal feasts of many of the Latino nations.

 

THANK YOU to the members of our Hispanic and Haitian communities who organized bus trips for parishioners this summer.  Not only did they bring profit to the parish, but they provided travel opportunities for the parishioners.
