Preaching at the Mass on November 17, 2008, commemorating the 450th anniversary of the deaths of Mary Tudor and Cardinal Reginald Pole--

perhaps the high point of his time at Corpus Christi

Rob Meadows-Rogers                            Tom Warren

After Mass, while waiting for the concert to begin,

Fr. Wizeman pondered Cardinal Pole.

He especially liked Stephen Nemethy's Our Lady             He often placed this picture

of Walsingham, with the pilgrims' shoes left                       on the altar when he said Mass.

to walk the last mile barefoot.

July 22, 2010--the wake and funeral:

funeral photos by Tom Warren                                                               Despite summer vacation season,

many of his fellow Jesuits were present.

Because so many parishioners were away in July,

the parish memorial for Fr. Wizeman was held on

September 19, 2010--the day of Cardinal Newman's

beatification, which Fr. Wizeman had hoped to attend.

An icon of Blessed John Henry Newman

was displayed.
